ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Suzearitz Suhimi is the author and web administrator for the Undang-undang Explained website. Suzearitz received his legal credential with a LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Prior to having his law degree, Suzearitz holds another degree in Computer and Communication System Engineering. He has worked in Software Engineering field for 13 years starting as an Integration Engineering responsible for designing interface software for smart-home technology devices. He was also  part of a team involved in Cryptography project with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He then left to join Solutions Protocol Sdn Bhd (SPSB), a subsidiary of Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Berhad (SPKB) to be involved in Health Informatics projects namely the Total Hospital Information System (THIS) project as an Application Engineer in 2003. He was involved in the computerization of 13+1+1 government hospitals, a project worth RM 588 + 15 + 81 millions. Among those are Hospital Serdang, Hospital Ampang, Hospital Sungai Buluh, Hospital Sungai Petani, Hospital Alor Setar, Hospital Keningau, Hospital Lahad Datu, Hospital Sultan Ismail and Hospital Angkatan Tentera Lumut and many more. His last position at SPSB was as the Application Manager for the same company.

He then joined Pantai Group and was overseing the Pantai Group’s IT innitiatives. Other than that, he has also been involved with many smaller projects as consultant for various hospital and health systems. In all, he has managed around RM 1 billion worth of projects.

His involvement with the field of law began when he helped his wife to start her own firm in 2011. This has generated his interest in legal matters, hence, Suzearitz decided to take up a law degree at UKM. He now works together with his wife at same firm.

Suzearitz decided to create this website as a way of giving back to the community and the public by empowering them with basic legal knowledge, sufficient help them in their daily live whether personally, professional, socially, or politically.
